In order to compared the differences between different varieties of common millet seedling drought resistance, so as to screen out stronger drought resistance of several high quality varieties.we measurement16varieties of9quality morphological indicators and treatment physiological indexes under simulated drought stress form Panicum miliaceum L.germplasm resources.Finally embodies the Panicum miliaceum L. variety of resources.The experimental results show that:The most resources concentrated in six provinces in the north, Gansu, Hebei, Shandong, Shanxi, Shaanxi, resources total reached6065, accounts for more than70%.These varieties the most largest leaf area is number20,the yellow Panicum miliaceum L.is98.17cm2; the longest spike length is number12,Ningxia red Panicum miliaceum L. is44.90cm and is the most heaviest thousand seed weight is7.42g;the largest leaf density is the number of29,Shandong black Panicum miliaceum L.is5.81/mm.In the physiological indicators the best drought resistance are Shaanxi yellow Panicum miliaceum L;Ningxia red Panicum miliaceum L;Shandong Panicum miliaceum L;Shandong black Panicum miliaceum L;Shaanxi black Panicum miliaceum L.To sum up,the observation of morphological phenotype is closely related to the physiological characteristics,for the screening of excellent germplasm resources,for the diversity germplasm resources,for the diversity of Panicum miliaceum L.germplasm resources and breeding the excellent genetic variety.
