Research On The Evaluation Of Forest Carbon Sinks Of State-owned Forest Industrial Regions In Heilongjiang

At present, the issue of climate change has been upgraded to a global environmental problem, which has become increasingly prominent. Large emissions of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases are considered to be the root causes of the greenhouse effect and global warming issues. In recent years, the growing development of carbon sequestration market is the use of the forest carbon sinks, which means that the forest could remove the carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. In this situation, the forest carbon sinks are gradually uncovered and taken seriously. Therefore, how to measure the amount of forest carbon sinks scientifically and reasonably has become a hot research topic.Forest is not only the survival of all things and the carrier of the ecosystem. At the same time, as the material basis for survival and development, it has multi-purpose and multi-functional characteristics. Forest resources are the material basis of forestry achieving its ecological, economic and social benefits. At the same time, it plays an extremely important role in improving the human environment and the quality of human life, maintaining the balance of ecological environment and promoting sustainable and coordinated development of the social and economic aspects. As the largest one of China’s important state-owned forest regions, the state-owned forest industrial regions in Heilongjiang play an essential role in the effectiveness of forest carbon sinks. Therefore, the forest carbon sinks and carbon sequestration potential of the state-owned forest industrial regions in Heilongjiang will have a huge impact on the mitigation of climate warming, the launching of carbon sequestration trade and the establishment of a carbon exchange market in the regions.In the case of expounding the large research background and research status, this article focuses on the importance of forest carbon sinks in the state-owned forest industrial regions of Heilongjiang and its current situation. And after discussing various calculating methods of physical quantities and magnitude of value of forest carbon sinks and analyzing their strengths and weaknesses, this article puts forward a suitable method for the estimation of carbon sinks in the state-owned forest industrial regions of Heilongjiang, and uses the model for the prediction of the potential of carbon sinks. And then the article analyzes the results and makes recommendations to improve the forest carbon sinks in the regions. At last, we draw conclusions of the article and point out the insignificances.
