Herbicide Use Issues And Countermeasures In Nenjiang County Of Heilongjiang Province

With the scientific and technical progress and accelerated industrialization， science andtechnology and industrial products are more and more applied to agricultural production，promoting the rapid development of agriculture. Since the1940s， the herbicide was widely usedin agricultural production to exponentially promote food production， which makes a largecontribution to solving the problem of feeding of human beings.With the increase of using area and the amount of growth of herbicide， new problems hasemerged in the agricultural production， such as the phenomenon that domestic pesticide andexcellent agronomic measures were not taken seriously or abandoned， pesticides choice wasabused without the consideration of the security， immature technology， non-standard of plantprotection machinery，which all resulting in serious herbicide injury，even leading to agriculturalproduction disaster. These mount a serious challenge to the sustainable development of agriculture.The Nenjiang County is not only one of the major grain-producing counties in the country，but also one of the country’s major commodity grain production bases. Herbicide injury problemcaused1billion kilograms of grain deduction each year in Nenjiang County and more than100million yuan reduction in farmers’ income. Herbicide injury problem is an urgent problem in theNenjiang County agricultural production.Through survey and in-depth investigation into the Nenjiang county pesticide managementmarket and the farmers’ application of herbicides， we firstly understand the herbicide varieties，mixed medication method and period， spraying and phytotoxicity types， and injury area anddegree in Nenjiang County. We analyze carefully the objective and subjective reasons andinfluencing factors of the phytotoxicity.In this paper， we accessed domestic and foreign herbicide use and the latest achievements.With first-hand experience in agricultural production， the paper brings about solution to herbicideuse problem in Nenjiang County in five ways， including agricultural measures， pharmacyselection， the use of technology， spray norms and policy support， and a special solution tophytotoxicity. It provides the basis for the scientific use of herbicides in Nenjiang County.
