Agriculture has a close relationship with the natural resources and ecological environment in thedepartments of human production activities,and it has an irreplaceable role in the Sustainable developmentof human societies and ecosystems. Protecting the agricultural ecosystem balance between matter andenergy, and giving full play to the functions of the various factors of production has a great positivesignificance.The county is the basic unit of environmental management and socio-economic regulation, thesustainable development of the agricultural ecosystem in the social, political, and national economy plays akey position. Emergy analysis is a quantitative analysis method which combines regional ecosystems andeconomic systems, and it is also an important means to study sustainable development of regionalecological economic system.In the study, it is based on the lower reaches of the Yellow River Plain typical County-FengqiuCounty as the study area, Fengqiu County agricultural ecosystems as the research object, StatisticalYearbook of1995-2010as the main data source, referring to the data and information of the agriculturalsurvey, it is based on Emergy analysis method, which combines systems, economics, ecology science andother disciplines theory, and it makes a quantitative analysis on the Agricultural ecosystem inputs, outputsemergy flows and sustainable of Fengqiu County.According to the characteristics of Fengqiu County agricultural ecosystems, It makes Emergyanalysis on the index system, which includes Economic value indicators, Emergy Input Indicators, theEnergy Output Indicators, Environmental Pressure Index, Comprehensive Evaluation Index System,etc.To measure and compare the true value of the different classes and different levels of energy inthe system and its contribution to the system, and ultimately makes a correct evaluation of the sustainabledevelopment system.Through empirical and theoretical analysis, the main conclusions of this study are as follows:1) The renewable emergy of Agricultural ecosystem is relatively high in Fengqiu County, but theindustrial assistant emergy is low in proportion to Agricultural ecosystem. It means that the functioning ofthe agricultural ecosystem mostly depends on the resources of the natural environment, the standard of living of the farmers in a general state and agricultural economic development level is low.2)Between1995and2010, the system dominance index was declining year after year,it closed tothe optimum value of0.5in2010, overall dominance is better. It means that the system structure ofagricultural system of Fengqiu County is better balanced, but Farming and animal husbandry is still theleading industries of the agricultural system, and the output emergy of Forestry and fisheries subsystem islow in proportion to total output emergy and has not been fully developed.3)Between1995and2010, the system stability is maintained at between0.47-0.74, the stabilityof the system is not high. It shows that the stability of agricultural ecosystem of Fengqiu County is at alow level, the network connection is lacking in many subsystems within the system.4)Between1995and2010, the sustainability Development Index of the agricultural ecosystem isvery higher, the values of most of the years maintained at between1-10. It describes that the Lower use ofnonrenewable resources of local agricultural systems in Fengqiu county, less pressure on naturalenvironment, and It belongs to the sustainable agricultural ecosystem,but the agricultural economy hashighlighted the undeveloped characteristics.At last, based on Emergy analysis, this study gives some suggestions about the sustainabledevelopment of agricultural system in Fengqiu County:(1) Optimize the energy input structure.(2) Waterresources should be allocated on a reasonable basis and economical use.(3) Better harmonize therelationship among resources, population and environment.(4) Effectively protect and use arable landresources.(5) Construct and popularize business methods and technology system, which can promotesustainable development.Based on the above studies, it helps people to understand scientifically and develop and Makegood use of the resources of agricultural system in the local area, and accumulates the basic data andmaterial for the development of sustainable agricultural ecosystem, and plays a certain role in promoting itand improving the function of Fengqiu agricultural ecosystem.
