On the contrary, due to the regional soil watershortage, water utilization is not high, severe soil wind erosion, low soil fertility, waterretention ability is poor, it is not satisfy to the potato normal growth and development of waterdemand, seriously restricted the efficient water-saving production of potato. Therefore,through the actual investigation, relying on potato production technology development trendboth at home and abroad, put forward suitable for northern Shaanxi sandstorm potatocultivation technique system of water saving, and combining the reality of the regionalwater-saving cultivation technology application, proposed to promote potato cultivationtechnique system of water saving strategies. To enhance the potato production ability andlevel of Shaanxi sandy, promote potato industry health and sustainable development, realizethe regional farmers’ income has important practical significance.According to the agricultural resources about this paper collected a large number ofsandstorm and the potato production status, on the basis of the situation and trend of potatoproduction at home and abroad are reviewed, further clarify the analysis of the main factorsrestricting the development of potato industry in northern Shaanxi sandstorm:(1) germplasmresources shortage, kinds of potatoes cannot fully meet the demand of local farmers,production, scientific research and production of dislocation, breeding system is not sound.(2)The investment of science and technology, breeding work hard to progress.(3) Theindustrialization development system is not sound, the industrial structure is unreasonable,seriously restrict the potato industrialization development.(4) The transformation of potatoprocessing system is not perfect.(5) Market information is ineffective, lack of project.(6)lack of potato industry development that meet the needs of management mechanism.(7) Hasnot yet formed, socialization service system of technical services lag.
