Strawberry anthracnose disease tissues were obtained in the field, in order to separate and purify pathogens. Morphology identification demonstrated that the pathogens were Colletotrichum gloeosporioides (Penz.) Sacc.. PCR amplifications were performed for the ITS regions of rDNA using the universal primers ITS1and ITS4. The ITS sequences were deposited in GenBank and compared against those sequences already found in the databases using the BLAST search. Phylogenetic analysis indicated that the pathogens isolated from disease strawberry plants were Colletotrichum gloeosporioides, that was consistent with the identification of morphological characteristics.A total of12wild strawberry germplasm resources were studied as materials for examining their resistance to anthracnose by methods of individual plant inoculation, single leaf inoculation and nature infection in field. The results showed that by the method of individual plant inoculation, six germplasm resources were moderately resistant including10-02,10-03,10-18,10-26,10-42and10-43, four germplasm resources performanced susceptible including10-01,10-04,10-19and10-41, two were highly susceptible including10-20,10-22; the results of single leaf inoculation and individual plant inoculation were close, except that10-22was susceptible to anthracnose; field survey results:most of the wild strawberries showed good resistance to anthracnose, significantly different with the previous two surveys. The correlation analysis showed that three survey methods were positively correlated. The coefficient of variation analysis shows that the method of individual plant inoculation was able to identify resistance variation for different germplasm resources, so it can be used as identification standard for wild strawberry resistance to anthracnose. Before inoculating with Colletotrichum gloeosporioides, the disease-resistant materials had a higher POD activity, significant better than the susceptible materials, after inoculating, all the wild strawberries showed POD activity increased first, then decreased, the resistant materials had higher enzyme activity than those susceptible ones. Before inoculating with Colletotrichum gloeosporioides, all the materials had a relatively low level of CAT activity, CAT activity in disease-resistant materials was slightly highter than the susceptible ones, while the four materials were no significant differences, after inoculating, CAT activity increased first and then decreased in all materials, CAT activity reached the peak value at3th in resistant materials, while susceptible materials reached its peak value at2th. It was showed that the activity of POD, CAT in wild strawberries had certain positive correlation with resistance. Before inoculating, SOD activity had no irregular, while after inoculating, different materials had different SOD activities, all of the resistance materials SOD activity indicated the trend of decreasing, whereas in susceptible materials SOD descended firstly and then increased.
