Agriculture is one of the main sources of greenhouse gases. A large number of agricultural machinery was used and a large number of straw were burned, which causes serious environment pollution and a waste of resources. In order to solve the high contamination and high emission in agriculture, the research of low-carbon and high-yield rice production was started in Jianghuai area since2009. The technology used a new plant model called new direct seeding on dry field, which can finish several procedures one time such as returning, fertilizing and seeding. In order to make the project work better, we should design one kind of machine which is used for the new plant model.On the basis of analyzing and summarizing the actual state of the seeding combine machine at home and abroad, the machine was designed in the mass according to the demand of the project. And then we design and optimize the main component by MATLAB, establish the virtual prototype in Pro/Engineer, get the machine with tight structure, intensity credibility and firm steady model, and carry out the experiment. The result and conclusions are as following:1、In this paper, the effect of different plant methods on soil nutrients was studied, the result show that the new plant model which is called new direct seeding on dry field is better in growth of soil organic matter, available nitrogen, available phosphorus and available potassium, and the conventional plant model which direct seed on dry field is better in growth of total nitrogen.2、In this paper, the machine includes12seeding openers and12fertilizing openers, and the working breadth is2.3m. Main parts of this machine include cardan joint, three point linkage, ditching linkage, rotary till linkage, seeding and fertilizing part, and so on. The machine can finish several procedures one time such as ditching, fertilizing and seeding. The blade shaft roll forward as it could reduce power consumption. Total power consumption of the machine is about26.23kW.3、In this paper, power of seeding and fertilizing part come from cardan joint directly. One type of square-tooth clutch was designed which could connect and cut the power transmission line. In hence, the speed of seeding and fertilizing will meet with tractor’s speed. Compared to conditional fertilizer drills, it could avoid happening slippage and keep working steadily and uniformly.4%In this paper, in order to improve the designed speed and quality, draw the three-dimensional model in Pro/Engineer. The result of static interferometry analysis showed that the design is correct. Using the MATLAB, the blade shaft and the blade disc were optimized, the section area of the blade shaft was reduced by33%while the mass of the blade disc was reduced by30%. Therefore, the costs of the machine were reduced, but the strength of the blade shaft and blade disc is enough.5、After the test on fields in this paper, the result show that the working quality of this machine was very good because of its excellent traffic ability and working stability. The key parameters of the machine could reach relevant national standard. The study also show that the new direct seeding on dry field can save more than50%energy consumption compared with other conventional plant models. The machine has passed agricultural machinery promotion appraisal in Jiangsu Province, it could be popularized as a new kind of agricultural machine in large scale.
