According to the Zhejiang province tea production situation, we have been clear about the Zhejiang current tea garden main disease and insect species and chemical control present situation. Based on this survey, the new technology of physical&chemical control of pests and diseases, new efficient pesticide screening and pesticide accurate use were studied and put forward a set of pesticide application reduction technologies for tea production, which was applied and extended in many tea production counties with large area demonstration.1. Through the physical&chemical control technology research, the color plate was chosen as with the test effect for the control of Aleurocanthus spiniferus(Quaintanca). Some practical measures were suggested for the control of Euproctis pseudoconspersa imago with pheromone induced trap in occurring stage, and other pests with the specific spectrum of trap light and monitoring during in tea production.2. Four kinds of new pesticides were screened out with high effect. The efficient and low-toxic pesticide of Microbial source pesticide tea caterpillar virus pesticides for the control of Euproctis pseudoconspersa is between91.5%and100%21days after spray; the effect of plant source pesticide0.6%matrine agent for control Ectropis oblique hypulina Wehrli is between85.3%and97.7%after spraying7days; the effect of Mineral source99%mineral oil pesticide for the control of Acaphylla theae (Watt) is between79.0%and94.9%14days after spray; the effect of240grams/liter chlorfenapyr suspending agent was chosen to control Empoasca vitis with effect between80.2%and93.4%after spraying14days.3. For the technical research of pesticide accurate use, GE agricultural organic silicon as a barrel mixed additives was chosen out to enhance the saving of pesticide use, labor and time effectively; however, the effect of using3W-650type motor sprayer is4.5times more than using stretcher atomizer and traditional spray.4. The total of application area was amounted to223thousands Mu (14847.6ha.) through the extension of this technology for two years (2010-2011) with good economic and societal benefits.
