Beijing Olympic Museum gives a comprehensive summary and review of the historicalachievements of Beijing Olympic Games and Paralympic. It is a professional museum whichfocusing on Beijing Olympic spirit and culture. And it is also a thematic museum whichcentralized in exhibiting and displaying of historical contributions made in Beijing OlympicGames. The construction of its intelligent system is around “one core”,“a main line”,“aplatform” functional orientation, target to reproduce the three concepts “Environment-friendlyOlympics”,“Technology-empowered Olympics” and “Culture-enriched Olympics”. Throughadvanced control theory, methods, techniques, and with the introduction of the green buildingand the sustainable development design concept, the Olympic museum was built into a new,green of the intelligent building, so that can realize the intelligent control and management ofbuildings, while, provide people with a safe, efficient, comfortable and convenientcomprehensive services environment.This article mainly introduced the intelligent system design and implementation ofBeijing Olympic museum, and emphatically introduces the construction equipmentmonitoring system, security video surveillance system, energy metering and environmentalmonitoring system, indoor wireless coverage system, etc. Those systems are all combinedwith the high-tech exhibition, the realization of the green building and the sustainabledevelopment design concept and a safe, efficient, comfortable and convenient comprehensiveservices environment. This article describes the structure and the functions of each system indetail.Construction equipment monitoring system designs with the method ofcollecting-distributing, and consists of manage network layer, Monitoring network layer, andField device network layer. It use TCP/IP, BACnet communication protocol to realize thecommunication between manage network layer and the communication between control layerDDC. So as to achieve centralized monitoring and decentralized control operationrequirements in a distributed system; Video monitoring system designs to be an advanceddigital, networked, intelligent video monitoring system, the front-end designs in HD networkcamera, monitor images are transmitted through a secure private LAN, the video monitoringsystem adopts the NVR as storage server and installs the monitoring management software tomanage the front-end video, the store and repost of image data, and pictures on the wall;Energy measurement and environmental monitoring system, through different calculatingmethods offered by time-based network thermostat, thermal (cold) scale, on-site sensors anddata acquisition and so on, to achieve the Real-time monitoring energy consumption statistics,data analysis and on-site air quality; Indoor wireless coverage systems combine the multiple-band and multiple-signal through the signal combiner solution, and then distribute byantenna transmission system,various wireless communication signals are used to cover theOlympic museum, thus achieving a compatible multiple-network signal coverage.
