Qi Kang believes that the essence of the memorial is "remember the past, represent history, and expect this to continue". The purpose of memorial landscape is to "commemorate", through the expression of form to make a site with worship, reflection, praise and encouragement to evoke memories of the past and thinking about the future. Form burdened with feelings and emotions embodied in forms. This paper explores how to express the inner monumental through the external form through the research of relationships between form and emotion.This paper on the basis of aesthetic form theory, analyses the types and characteristics of visual form and stating that the forms in landscape. Through psychological theory to reveal that there is a certain corresponding relationship between forms and emotions. Resolving Memorial Garden features from three aspects: the form elements of the Memorial Gardens, people’s perception of memorial garden and types of commemorative object. On the basis of case studies, summarized the corresponding relationships between forms and monumental, the form principles of monumental expression. Finally, the paper summarized the technique of monumental expression from three aspects: perception people, commemorative objects and form symbol. Expecting to find a language to represent accurately the memorial forms, and provide reference for the future designs.
