Today the energy shortage and environmental pollution is becoming more serious. The use of renewable energy research and its key technology has attracted worldwide attention. Especially the renewable biomass resources have the prominent feathers of the large, widely distributed and the low pollution. Then the biomass became a great potential for development of new energy sources. The use of the biomass has a great significance in the construction of gas power generation environment-friendly society and promoting economic community sustainable development. Biomass gas generator plays an important role in power generation, and generator excitation system is also extremely important. Generator grid-connected system is the important part of the power supply system, and to make the generator parallel in the electric power system is the key of achieving efficient operation of the small-scale distributed power supply system.Synchronous generators are more widely used in power generation applications, and the voltage control and network control plays an important role in the generator operation of the connecting the grid. The voltage is controlled by controlling the excitation system, the system for generating excitation machine and network control is essential. This paper started from the research of the voltage synchronous generator excitation control system, and conducted simulation in the MATLAB.This thesis is based on the introduction of biomass combustion gas generator and grid voltage control technology research, First this paper introduces the development of biomass gas and research background, followed by the basic principles and development of synchronous generator and excitation system. Based on the principle of synchronous generator and excitation system, use the MATLAB technology to simulate the voltage control. Finally, this paper uses the DSP technology to produce a program of grid voltage control, TMS320F2812produced in TI Company is the main control chip of the system, and this system has several cells, including voltage parameter detection circuit unit, over current and reverse power protection unit, main control unit, power generation unit. On the whole, the system consists of two parts; one is the part of hardware design, and another is the part of software project. The part of hardware design has two aspects; respectively one is the detection circuit based on hall elements used to detect the frequency, phase, the amplitude of voltage and another is the embedded control circuit based on TMS320F2812. Also the part of software design consists of two parts; they are the initialize for hardware resource based on TMS320F2812and host program used to detect signal or realize control tactics based on grid algorithm. As language C is compact and flexible, meanwhile it is easily to express the logical thinking of human by language C, so all the software project is programmed by language C.
