With the development of the wind power technology, and the apparent trend in popularizing wind driven generator, the higher demand has been made to wind turbine gearbox trains mechanism, which is regarded as the core part of wind power energy. Nowadays, planetary trains mechanism of wind turbine gearbox is the structure of2-3MW, which is still far away from the goal in equipment structure of12th Five Year Plan that is to reach10MW in Offshore wind turbine machine and Parts design. In addition, the gear applied in gearbox has disadvantages such as high weight and large vibration and noise. In terms of the problems pointed out above, the article aims to do research on the design theory of asymmetric involute gear and parameter optimization, and based on theoretical analysis and finite element analysis, have a deeper study on the application of asymmetric involute gear to wind turbine gearbox. The main aspects are as follows:To assure the main design parameter of wind turbine gearbox through the pre-design of three trains mechanism and the comparison of their trans efficiency as well as weight is also a way to plan10W-power split planetary trains mechanism with high efficiency and carrying capacity.In terms of the plan of wind turbine gearbox, the introduction of a new asymmetric involute gear will improve carrying capacity, lubricating capacity and reduce vibration as well as noise. The thesis is to study the symmetrical involute gear theory based on the parameter prototype of PROE. Besides, it is also a way to make parameter assembly of asymmetric involute gear box.On the basis of parametric model, here comes a conclusion that is the application of wind turbine gearbox can greatly improve transmission efficiency, based on the finite element analysis, the comparison with theoretical power, the improvement of the accuracy of finite analysis and the comparison of carrying capacity between asymmetric involute gear box and symmetric gear box.The optimized asymmetrical tooth-profile has been achieved with the aim of optimizing the power of asymmetrical gear box and the design variable by the way of optimizing straggling parameter.
