Design Of Motor Operating Mechanism Controller For High Voltage Circuit Breaker

With the development of Smart Grid, High Voltage Circuit Breaker as the control equipment, the intelligent and controllability has become an important direction of development. Motor operating mechanism, as a new drive switching operating of high voltage circuit breaker, can achieve greater controllong with the modern power electronic technology and communications technology. Motor operating mechanism has the characteristics of simple structure and easier to control.This paper designs a control device for the brushless permanent magnet motor operating mechanism of High Voltage Circuit Breaker. This control device is based on TMS320F28335, AD conversion module, the isolated driver module of PWM and IGBT module and so on and it can control motor operating mechanism. Meanwhile, in order to modify the parameters of PWM, We design the panel control module based on STC12LE5A60S2. In this paper, debugging the procedure of panel control module, data acquire, main control program and IGBT Over-current protection.Based on126kV high voltage vacuum circuit breaker, the team conduct an experiment. Finishing the opening, the closing, automatic reclosing, reliability and speed control experiments when the experimental conditions is different. The experimental data show that the opening velocity is3.3m/s, the closing velocity is2.28m/s, when the capacitor voltage is260V, the PWM duty cycle is95%; The reliability experiments show that the maximum error of opening and closing time is1.5ms, so they has high stability when control device and motor operating mechanism work together. The speed control experiment show that it can achieve speed control when control device and motor operating mechanism work together.
