The development of intelligent grid is the primary objective of the national grid development plan. the electrical appliances intelligent is the foundation of the intelligent grid. Therefore, the development of the intelligent electrical appliances will keep pace with the development of the intelligent grid. The high voltage circuit breaker as the main electrical equipment play an important role in the power grid, and its intelligent degree has an important role in the development of the intelligent grid level. This paper design of the motor operating mechanism controller for high voltage circuit breaker, focusing on the design of the controller hardware circuit and software, which can cut off the current of 200A, so that the controller will operate stably and reliably, and ensure the normal working of the circuit breaker.Firstly, this paper introduces the present situation of the motor control method, describing the principle and mathematical model of the motor operating mechanism, which is the controlled object. Secondly, the paper designs the hardware circuit and software system of the controller which is the part of the controller system composed of the current loop, velocity loop and position loop. On the controller hardware, it researches on the peripheral circuits, whose core control chip is DSP mainly, includes power modules, speed, current detection module, CAN communication module, display module etc. On the control software, it research on resigning and confirming the control method of DSP motor operating mechanism controller for high voltage circuit breaker, And writing and debugging related applications in the CCS2.2 programming environment. Finally, the paper Implement On-line debugging and experiments on the controller and the circuit breaker, and implement the following experiments by the controller, including Motor single switching operations, The three switching operations , Display module , Charge and discharge module , The winding of each phase current detection, The main loop circuit detection etc. The final experimental results show that the controller design is structural reliability and practical.
