Landscape Structure Analysis Of Chengdu Suburban Recreation

With the accelerating of the urbanization process, the decline of urbanenvironmental quality was a contrast to the increase of urban economics in wealth, and therapid of public transportation development, they have allowed China to usher in the era ofnational tourism, but due to the restriction of time and space, the city residents’ daily travelsites are more concentrated at the edge of the city, this repetitive, short-term travel, for thepurpose to recreation and sports activities is called "recreation.""The Leisure City"-Chengduhas a model to integration of the tourism and leisure with urban development, which is anexperience of response to recreation needs from today’s urban development, and "TheHuamuzhixiang"-"five flowers" from Sanshengxiang town, is a comprehensive urban andrural supporting reform pilot area of achievement, it even is a typical of Chengdu’s leisure andtourism development.As Chengdu’s suburban recreation ground, Sanshengxiang town has a convenienttransportation, a beautiful natural environment, a perfect infrastructure, and an opening andfree space, be able to provide "eating, housing, travelling, shopping and entertainment,"which is supporting recreation services for the peoples, could be peoples’ daily preferredrecreation destination, the overall operation of the recreation ground is very successful.Organized by the government incentives, financial support, investment, housingreconstruction after reunification original inhabitants and landscape planning and design oflocal conditions, the internal structure and landscape pattern of Sanshengxiang town’s fivesub-scenic spots has a certain reference value for the city landscape planning of recreationgrounds on suburban.In this paper, the author used the remote sensing data and GIS for technical support,based on the patch principles of landscape ecology, accorded to "The garden basicterminology standards","The landscape design specification standards", combined with thefield circumstances of the study area, divided the landscape elements of the study area into five kinds of landscape patches:"woodland patches","building patches","grass/vegetablepatches","road patches","water body patches".The author used the landscape analysis plug“Patch Analyst” to select17indicators for the landscape pattern,such as the landscapeelements’ area index, the shape index, the edge indicators, and the core area index, to analysisthe patch characteristics, and the landscape heterogeneity for the landscape of the fivesub-scenic spots landscapes from Sanshengxiang town. Obtained the structural characteristicsof landscape,the characteristics of the five study areas and the type of landscape patches of"Hongshacun","Hetangyuese","Xingfumeilin","Donglijuyuan","Jiangjiacaidi ", the fivescenic spots landscape planning is through a unified production, although there are somesimilarities and normative in the landscape internal structure, but each region has its owncharacteristics and the main attraction landscape, the dislocation development is effectively toavoid the vicious competition.According to the previous statement, the author drown conclusions：1) both “Hongshacun” and “Xingfumeilin” have the larger numbers of tourists, thelarger area, the more building patches, and more complex shapes. The landscape aremore crushing because they all influenced by human activities;2)“Hetangyuese”,“Donglijuyran” and “Jiangjiacaidi” have higher landscapeheterogeneity and fewer building patches, the landscape patches have more regularshapes and the better reunion.
