Wetland park construction is a successful wetland management to achieve thecombination of wetland protection and rational utilization. Theconcept can be understood as that wetland park facilities is a place not even for habitatprotection, but also to provide an activity for human, including science education, naturalscenery sightseeing, relaxing walks and bird watching facilities. And these buildings havedifferent manifestations at different scales, from small-scale just like the bins, seats and lights,to the mi-dscale of rest kiosks, veranda, cruise ships, amarina, even to the large-scale asmulti-bird hides, visiting center. By using typical cases wen carry out the combining qualitativeand quantitative analysis. The results show that wetland park facilities are characterized in thedecentralized distribution, vivid models, environmental protection and other specialty materials,and specific performance is uneven spatial distribution, mainly in the display area of wetlandsand service experience management area, and dominated by smal facilities, and medium andlarge number of facilities are few. Cuihu Wetland Park has the small-scale facilities accountedfor94.5%, the mid-scale accounted for4.3%and the large-scale representing1.2%of the total;in Nanhaizi Wetland Park, the small-scale wetland park facilities occupy90.2%,6.4%ofmid-scale and3.4%of large-scale wetland; in Xixi National Wetland Park, the small-scalewetland park facilities take of88.8%, and the precent of mid-scale and large-scale are9.7%and1.5%; the proportion of the small-scale facilities in Hong Kong Wetland Park is89.1%, and the proportion of mid-scale facilities is9.6%, the proportion of large-scale facilities is1.3%. Wetland park facilities are space modeling and more lively, which is drew from wetlandwildlife; the materials are eco-based materials, avoiding using concrete, metal and otherartifacts obvious material; wetland park culture embody in the sketch comedy material, shape,etc., especially wetland park facilities are looking for―prototype‖from the wetland nature.Through the analysis of typical cases, we can finally define the eight wetland park facilitiesdesign principles: the principle of priority of ecological protection, environmental overallcoordination principle, the amount of total body control principle, highlighting the principle ofwetland characteristics, active public participation in principle, serve clear principle, wetlandscultural transmission principle, saving energy and reducing the use of materials such as woodprinciples expounded wetland sketch of the design process, including the identification ofwetland park facilities design concepts, delineation range of functional areas, wetlandclassification park facilities design. The design process is applicated in the Beijing Xiaolongheand Guizhou Danzhai wetland park, which embodies the design principles.
