Exploration Of Urban Relics Park Design

The protection of relics gets more and more attentions by the High-speed urbanization, the urban relics park mode solved the contradiction between the relics protection and city construction partly. As an ancient capital, Beijing has a lot of urban relics resources, and takes some achievement in the construction of urban relics park, shows the humanistic value, the ecological value, the economic value and the sociological value. So the urban relics parks in Beijing is very typical and meaningful as the major subject in research. I do a deeply research to write this thesis from both theory and practice in Beijing urban relics parks after summarizing the exsiting research achievements at home and abroad to provide references for the relics park construction in Beijing or any other city. The main achievements include:1. Combing out and concluding from theoretical system of relics park and urban relics park.2. Analyzing and summarizing the existing circumstances of Beijing urban relics protection and the profile of urban relics park.3. Choosing Beijing urban relics parks as typical cases to investigate and analyse deeply, contrast them with overall layout, exhibition of relics protection, cultural expression, the landscape construction, the surrounding city environment and the public participation. On this basis, Summarizing the advantages and disadvantages of the construction of urban relics park in Beijing.4. Based on the theoretical research and the conclusion of the investigation, I point out some personal reflections on the development of Beijing urban relics park. And as Beijing for example, extending to a preliminary exploration of common method in urban relics park construction.
