With the increasingly fierce market competition, it is the key of success to constantly develop new products to market, which is the outcome of innovation. Different problems to be solved exist during the different times of product innovation, some of which could be solved according to available experience. But others like the hard difficulties or invention problems could not be done, that is cumulative to lead to the innovative process obstacles. After years of development, Computer Aided Innovation technology based with TRIZ, has become an effective way to assist the designer solving the innovation problem.Computer Aided Innovative developed rapidly in the manufacturing field in recent years, which includes methods of scientific analysis and innovative thinking, invention principles to solve problems and convert contradictions, the standard solutions and algorithm for inventive and problem solving. The maturing ontological technology provides an important way to innovative thinking extensions and solving the problem based patent. Along with the Value Engineering, Patent Analysis, Root Cause Analysis, and project management theory integrated, foundation of Computer Aided Innovative tend to increasingly improvement. It has been widely used in new product development, manufacturing engineering systems and processes to optimize the design stage, as a count tool for many companies in product innovation design process effectively for R&D personnel.The thesis firstly introduces the TRIZ theoretical system and basic theory and methods of Computer Aided Innovative, then describes the main elements of TRIZ system, composition and application of Computer Aided Innovative, and then integrated with Value Analysis, Root Cause Analysis for enriching and expanding CAI system. It gradually forms more perfect with more scientific, manipulated and current problem-solving process. Finally, this paper focuses on the solving process integrated with TRIZ, Value Analysis, Root Cause Analysis theory, according to the existing problems of garlic planter, such as taking single grain once, planted upright, transfer head upward, and other technical problems. Through proposing and evaluating several processes to improve the design, the final programmer is achieved on the CAI software Pro/Innovator, verifying the problem-solving process systematic, feasibility and effective.
