With the continuous development of China’s railway, safe driving is becoming increasingly important. At present, train control of china is low intelligent and excessive manual intervention, particularly in a temporary speed limited zone, the blind spot of train control. Drivers identified information only based on the temporary speed limit signage on the ground which lack of automatic message transmiting and automatic control measures. There are security risks as the improvement of trains speed and density. Although the CTCS2system has a wide range of use in the domestic railway, it has poor adaptability to the temporary speed limited. Also due to the technical difficulties and high research costs of CTCS-3and CTCS-4system, they are not widely used in the railway. The topic for the status of the CTCS-2train control system as a mainstream of the domestic stage, will develop a temporary speed limited vehicle-mounted host control system which combines with the speed limited labels laid on the rails to handle the data collected by radio frequency technology.Not only dose the research provide a more secure and reliable assist way to the drivers, but also it provides a new idea for domestic CTCS-2system upgrading to CTCS-3train control system.Vehicle-mounted host control system is the core processing module of temporary speed limited system and my key study object. It will real-time monitor train’s speed, and achieve automatic early warning and control. The paper which uses LPC2361as the main chip focuses on the hardware and software design of vehicle-mounted host control system. First, it analyzes the existing problems of temporary speed restriction segment now and briefly introduces the train temporary speed limited system which the vehicle-mounted host control system belongs to. Secondly, it seclects the controller chips according to the needs of the control host and designs control processing circuit, power supply circuit and double hot standby solution. The design of isolation and electromagnetic compatibility ensures the safety and reliability of the various parts. Thirdly, The article mainly analyzes through the on-board host control software requirements analysis and software data flow architecture, the polling control module, speed monitoring and logging processing and exporting. It designes reader and TAX boxes interrupt reception function and communication processes and specific frame structure content between the host and TAX box, the reader, LCD. Finally, the paper testes on the host system functionality. The test makes a conclusion that the system is able to do a warning and control for the temporary speed limited area.
