China territories are vast, railway transportation is very important for our country’snational economic construction and social development. Since the sixth time of the trainspeed up in a big area, the train’s running speed and density are improved to a great extent.Then the security of the railway transportation become a hot topic, this will directly affectsthe national construction and social development in our country. Considering the influence ofthe nature disasters, line construction and some other reasons, it is necessary to taketemporary speed control protection in part of the train line. Although the technology of ourcountry’s railway transportation safety control is developing and perfecting, temporary speedcontrol is still a important and difficult point in the train operation control.In the temporary train speed control, there are a large amount of information between thetrain and the ground equipment to transmit, the original information content has been difficultto meet the needs of the temporary speed limits. The technology of RFID has the advantagesof high reliability, large information capacity, convenient maintenance, simple structure,flexible installation, convenient maintenance, and so on. It is especially suitable forinformation interaction in railway transportation. We use the RFID on the train and railwayfor the information interaction, these information need feedback to the workstation in time,and then prompt the operator of the train’s running conditions and the road conditions throughthe display screen and the voice. The screen display the information of the limit of speed,kilometer mark, fault, and so on. It is convenient for operators to make correspondingoperations timely and correctly, so as to ensure the safety of train operation.The purpose of this paper is to design and implement a temporary speed limit diplaysystem, its function is receiving the data frames from the hosts, and then parse the data,prompt the operator of the road condition through the screen and voice. The focus of the paperlies in the temporary speed limit display system’s hardware and software design andimplementation. It elaborates the design and implemention of the system from two aspects ofhardware and software.
