Through the parent-child education, can more comprehensive development of children’s movement, language, cognition, emotion, and create, social and other skills. And contemporary society, with the change of the concept of education, parent-child education began to be taken seriously and expansion of parent-child related industry chain development, and a variety of specific functions of parent-child space will be gradually accepted by the market, the parent-child space design method of relevant theory and space design has very important practical significance.This paper first investigates the present situation of parent-child space, through the indoor, outdoor, and static and dynamic parent-child space present situation of research, and summarized some environment, facilities and other physical elements in the role of parents and children space design, through the study of psychology, behavioral science and related disciplines, analyzed the basic parent-child activity behavior and psychological characteristics, and combined with interviews, questionnaire survey and other auxiliary means to understand the parenting behavior of the real individual psychological characteristics and parent-child space needs, on this basis, the related literature at home and abroad, the behavioral science, psychology, sociology, pedagogy and design part of the relevant information as theoretical support, focus on the study of symbolic interaction theory; Then combines the theory and research results, back to the parents and the public indoor space design category, with filial children shopping square theme design as an example, explore parent-child themed restaurant design strategy; Finally completed by the method of the above conclusions and chengdu\"good a city children shopping plaza\" parent-child themed restaurant design.Urban village is a kind of common phenomenon of China’s urbanization process, so for the urban village renewal and reconstruction of both at home and abroad have the experience and the results is worth using for reference.
