Comparative Analysis Of Jin Merchants, Huizhou Merchants Typical Traditional Residence’ Architecture Form And Decoration Arts

Architecture is the carrier of the historical culture, and also the ages of the space symbol, It carries not only architectural art and technology achievement, more records of the times background, it breeds and builds the cultural consciousness, moral values and aesthetic sentiment of the whole Chinese nation in a certain period in its entirety. The folk house of Jin merchants and Hui merchants, as an important part of China traditional dwellings and the typical representative of our country civil residence, it has many common traditional characteristics of Chinese people’s building, and regional characteristics because of the Geographical conditions, commercial culture dissemination and local customs and practices.This paper selects the typical businessman in Jinzhong area, Southern Anhui’s residence as the research object, on the basis of previous research results, the author compared the system of the folk house of Jin merchants and Hui merchants through the collation of historical data, analysis and field investigation.
