The shortage of traditional energy has become a consensus in the world, and its long-termsupply is particularly difficult in the Marine environment, so to develop self-sufficiency andenvironment friendly energy has become an issue that we have to face. Among muchrenewable energy, the wind and solar power is the most widely used, they are the two kinds ofenergy that has a long history and the optimistic development prospect. Because the electricity isthe mostly main way of energy consumption, solar power and wind power become the presentresearch hot spot. It contains research of high efficiency power generation, energy storage, stabilitystudies, etc. This paper tells that the wind and solar complementary system considering theintermittent and time complementary characteristics of these two kinds of energy and extract theircomplementary characteristics combination of efficient energy conversion, storage and necessarycontrol means to product stable power output.Wind solar hybrid system mainly consists of power systems, control systems, energy storagesystem and the load control system.The power generation system consists of photovoltaic cells andwind turbines, and the big manufacturer has accumulated mature technology. Energy storage systemtakes battery power to store energy. It belongs to the category of electrochemistry. Load controlsystem can be integrated into the control system.and the control system is the control center of thewhole power system, related to the stability, security, efficiency and load control. The controlsystem’s differences affect the whole power system performance. This article focuses on the designof a high-performance intelligent control system.This paper elaborated from the following parts:1. This paper introduces the background and practical significance of wind and solar powergeneration, summarize and analyses the current research status of domestic and foreign windsolar hybrid Power system, and explore future trends.2. From the system level, the article analyzed the working principle of s wind and solarcomplementary system’s four parts. Based on that, advances the control system of the overalldesign idea, analysis and reduces the design complexity through the modular design. And thenwe analysis and closes power converter topologies for wind and solar power branch.Considering the battery characteristics, choosing appropriate charging control strategy.Analyzing of common MPPT algorithm, we put forward an improved MPPT algorithm.3. Under the guidance of modular design idea, the system is be divided into solar batterycharging part, wind power charging part, load control part and he control part that the hardware circuit design take use of STM32F107as the core. Combined with the control strategyproposed by this paper, design the embedded control software of lower position machine, andfocus on elaborating the MPPT algorithm. For the convenience of management, at the sametime, using C#language to program the PC management software based on ZedGraph diagramcontrol on the VS2008platform. Finally, using MATLAB-SIMULINK make a modeling andsimulation of photovoltaic cells, and then discussing PV and IV characteristics of photovoltaiccells.4. At last, this paper makes laboratory debugging and function test of the system, comparessystem work state with the intended target to test its quality, watches the system running statein real time by PC management software, and records the operating data.
