According to the use of the boiler, the boiler working substance outlet pressure above3.9MPa in planning for the power plant boiler category.As an important part of power plan’s energy conversiont is boiler, fuel chemical energy into heat energy of steam, provide power by high temperature and high pressure steam.For the power plant, boiler drum and full of water accident is one of the major malignant accidents have long plagued the safety measuring technology,mainly due to the boiler drum level measurement techniques are still some imperfections.Therefore, maintaining the boiler drum level is within the normal range of fluctuation is an important safety indicator of boiler operation must improve its control performance.Boiler drum level is important to ensure safe production and improve quality variable of steam.In this paper, the drum boiler in a power plant300MW unit in Ningxia as an example, using MATLAB simulation software, a detailed analysis of the control scheme of water level in the steam drum boiler water level control system and its dynamic characteristics and water level in the steam drum boiler are given, with the job site configuration software of image and data to improve the water level control scheme. Two factors Effecting drum water level are mainly composed of a main steam flow rate and feed flow rate.Firstly, we analyze respectively under two different factors that affect the dynamic characteristics of the steam drum water level.Secondly, analysis and comparison of boiler feed system solutions, that is a single impulse, double impulse, selecting the optimal impulse control scheme of three. Finally, based on the control system hardware system that Distributed Control System working mode analysis shows that better understanding of the control system.
