Countermeasures Of Urban Space Reconstruction After Traffic Improvements Through Road Networks Densification

Road system,as the base of the whole urban system, plays a most important role in society development. It define the shape of urban land and people’s life surrounded and urban street is also a place where people can interaction. The distribution of roads and streets have impact on urban landscape, which is the mirror of city quality. Traffic congestion happens more and more frequently nowadays, which reflect that there must be some problems in the process of urban plan,-thhat is sparse road networkThis dissertation explores multiple cause of sparse road network, propose some guidelines and methods of both road networks densification and urban space reconstruction based on many case research all over the world.This work finally do the renovation experiment of these method in Binglang-Xiamen train station district of Xiamen in Fujian province of China to prove the possibility, which do make sense.
