The product reliability and cost of product design is a contradiction, on the one hand product is required to minimize malfunction or it doesn’t go wrong at all, to ensure product quality to meet reliability requirements, on the other hand the production cost is required to be less, therefore, it is necessary to find a balance between reliability and cost as much as possible for product design. In this paper, objecting to bubble film machine for the study, it applies method of reliability allocation to carry out reliability design of bubble film machine. The main contents of this paper are:1, An analysis of reliability design of bubble film machine. Based on the study to the principle, the composition and characteristics of bubble film machine, a table of failure mode effects and hazards analysis is established for bubble film machine, to determine potential failure modes and important failure modes of the key components of bubble film machine; by analyzed to fault tree, it is thought over various reasons of failure for the bubble film machine, to identify its weaknesses.2, Establish the reliability allocation model of the bubble film machine. Reliability Block Diagram built for the bubble film machine, under the reliability, cost and other constraints of the work environment given, the reliability allocation method is established for bubble film machine with combining the reliability method of the score distribution and allocation method of the cost constrained, which not only meets the needs of product reliability and meets the requirements of the less cost for the product3, carry on parts design of the bubble film machine with the method of reliability allocation. Converting the task block diagram of the subsystem reliability into a mathematical model to calculate the reliability index, the reliability index of subsystems is assigned to each part with the genetic algorithm. Combine the calculating result of reliability indices for all parts and failure modes listed in Table FMECA, when the distribution of the intensity and stress of the components are determined, to carry on reliability design of the part for the bubble film machine.4, The system development of reliability distribution for the bubble film machines. With the theories and methods above, establish a series of function files, apply MATLAB as platform to develop an interface system,by inputting the raw data, you can get the results of reliability allocation of subsystems for the bubble film machines. In this paper a simple application is use to illustrate.In this paper, design the bubble film machine with the method of the reliability design, a design model of reliability for the bubble film machine has been established. Overall from the system to the parts, the reliability and the cost are unified in product design.
