Target intensity test is an important parameter of weapons play outside lane test, the current main testing methods are:binocular linear CCD intersection target, multi-light intersection screens, laser net target. On basis of these methods, this paper proposed another target density test method that combines area array and linear camera. Using the well properties of linear array camera’s high capturing speed and area array camera’s high flexibility to get more target dynamic information and more accurate target coordinates.This paper studied the whole test system’s arrangement mode and analyzes the working process of the whole system and the problems. By analyzing linear array camera’s feature, a variety of digital image processing method is applied to the extraction of target. On the basis of signal and linear system theory, this paper to put forward a deconvolution method for target extraction. The system adopted a stable background for the image. In this way the system solved problems of target extraction’s oscillation caused by unstable light source, and it met the technological requirement. According to nonlinear distortion imaging model of the array camera, this paper selected a distortion correction method based on proportional constant properties. This method is simple and rapid, and it is easy to implement. The paper explores the difference of the angle parameter calibration method and corresponding feature point calibration method. The experiment proved that using the second method during image processing can get more accurate results. On this basis, using the line laser to divide wide field into different small area for calibration, so the small target surface can expand to a large range of target surface and there is no adverse effects on the system. Finally it completed the target matching by using corresponding angle method. Through dynamic and static test, this system has high precision in target measurement, and it will provide the design method and theory base for these researches.
