Vehicle chassis foreign object detection is to use multiple linear array cameraimages taken from different angles Vehicle chassis images. Through multi-cameracalibration, feature matching and three-dimensional reconstruction of these aspects,the final foreign recognition processing. Calculating Vehicle chassis thecorrespondence between the cameras images coordinate system and the worldcoordinate system. Which to evaluate the Vehicle chassis the correspondence betweenthe camera images coordinate system and the world coordinate system. Accuracy ofthe camera calibration results and the stability of the calibration algorithm will directlyaffect the accuracy of camera work results. Thus improving multi-camera calibrationaccuracy is the focus of multi-camera calibration and the focus of three-dimensionalreconstruction. Face to the existing problems in these areas, which including buildingthe camera model, extraction of the feature points and build the camera calibrationalgorithm. More details are as follows:1. Using cross ratio invariance for image distortion correction. The camera lensesare not ideal lens imaging, but are subject to different degrees of distortion effects. Useof space geometry cross ratio invariance principle for image distortion correction. Thealgorithm is a one-dimensional algorithm, the algorithm is simple, less knownconditions need to know and the algorithm is very suitable for image radial distortioncorrection. Experimental results show that the calibration works well.2. Feature extraction of the line image. In this paper, we are expansion andcorrosion the image; locate the edges of the image. Then in the captured image foundthe circle image which of diameter the line, the above four feature points extracted.Experiments of image edge extraction is the use of the structures of size5to imageexpansion and corrosion, and then extracts feature points of the image, the resultsshown to extract the feature point coordinates well.3. Proposed a single linear array camera calibration algorithm. A single lineararray camera calibration is a multi-line array camera calibration foundation. This detailed study of single-line scan camera imaging model and calibration algorithm,using concentric circles to realize a single linear array camera calibration.4. Multi-line array camera calibration algorithm. Its external parameter is the firstcamera coordinate system as a reference coordinate system, and the other cameracoordinate system relative to the first camera coordinate system rotation matrix andtranslation matrix to describe. Experiments show based on concentric circlescalibration algorithm, easy to implement, there are very good calibration accuracy.
