Numerous domestic and international studies show that the anti-sliding performance of pavement is one of the important factors that influence traffic safety. But the current outstanding problem in China is that the anti-sliding performance index of new pavement is generally conform to the completion inspection and acceptance standard. After a short-term traffic loads, the anti-sliding performance of pavement decayed rapidly and seriously impact traffic safety and immediacy. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out the study on improving anti-sliding performance of old asphalt pavement using blasting technology, aiming at the decay law of anti-sliding performance of asphalt pavement and combining with the traffic conditions. This thesis mainly studies the application of blasting technology in the asphalt pavement maintenance, making the technology can be widely used in improving the roughness and friction efficient of asphalt pavement.In this thesis, through theoretical analysis and laboratory test, the factors, such as projectile diameter, traveling speed of shot blasting machine, construction temperature and so on, are analyzed, based on the improvement of anti-sliding performance of asphalt pavement. And combined with the practical applications of this experiment, put forward the reasonable construction technology. Then, in order to simulate the influence of vehicle load to pavement and evaluate the durability of pavement, research and develop an accelerate load tester independently on the basis of the experience of predecessors. Based on the accelerate load tester, conduct the anti-sliding performance decay test on the asphalt mixture which have been shot blasted. The experimental results showed that the anti-sliding performance of road can maintain a good effect after shot blasting process. On the basis of indoor research, pave the entity engineering on typical sections, and keep track of the using effect regularly to validate and replenish the research result. Finally, by compared with slurry seal which is the most widely used technology, carry out the blasting process efficiency analysis.Through the analysis research, find out that improving anti-sliding performance of old asphalt pavement using blasting technology is feasible.
