The stirling engine is one of the piston engine, which utilizes solar thermal to push the piston rod movement by heating the gas, it has widely applicability of energy and excellent environmental characteristics, having wide applicability for the energy and excellent environment characteristics, so it has been widely used and developed. However, the sealing performance of stirling engine and the service life of the seals have been restricting its development. Aiming at the low sealing performance of the stirling engine and the short service life of the seals, this paper main researches sealing performance of leningrader sealing arrangement and the service life of the seals. Through the elastohydrodynamic lubrication and other related theories, analyzing the sealing performance. By the friction and wear properties and mechanical properties experiment, analyzing and studying the service life of the seals. The main research contents are as follows:1. According to the status of PTFE is different in different temperature condition, determining the sealing material forming process of the sterling engine. This paper mainly analyses the heating rate, the cooling rate, the sintering time and temperature of the heating, insulation and cooling of the sintering process, determines the suitable PTFE material molding process, further optimizes the anti-wear performance and mechanical performance of composite materials.2. In determining the basis for the stirling engine sealing material and forming process, this paper studies mechanical properties and friction wear properties of the three kinds of composite materials, which contains MoS2/POB/PTFE, PI/POB/PTFE and AF/POB/PTFE. The experiment results show that PI and AF respectively with POB assist the lubrication and friction reducing effect reduces the friction coefficient and wear of POB/PTFE composite the material, and improves the compression modulus of composites and compression strength, compared to the MoS2/POB/PTFE composite materials, PI/POB/PTFE, AF/POB/PTFE and mechanical properties of friction stability, wear resistance is better, to further improve the comprehensive properties of POB/PTFE composites.3. Through the elastohydrodynamic lubrication theory, this paper analyzes the sealing performance of the leningrader, obtains the minimum oil film thickness of the leningrader seal. And according to the minimum oil film thickness, determining the seal lubrication state of the stirling engine Leningrader. Through the life prediction theory, this paper predicts the life of three kinds of composite materials, including MoS2/POB/PTFE, PI/POB/PTFE and AF/POB/PTFE and determines the life of the seals of the stirling engine.
