Along with the rapid development of the times and progress of society,advanced electronic technology and high-tech products play important prat in daily life. Folk Art as a materialized form of folk culture and the media of visualize carrier, is drifting away from us, gradually fade out of our sight. Bashu culture as abranch of Chinese civilization, The background of its history and culture are not only long but also mystery and bright. Folk Art is created and invented by working people who meet their own needs and aesthetic demands. It’s not only reflects the worker’s daily life,but also reflects the contemporary natural environment、society、historical and cultural background. So the Folk Art reflected people’s spiritual life,social life and material life from everywhereAmong the non-material cultural heritages of Sichuan, Chengdu lacquerware is o ne of the traditional handicraft items that enter the list of national non-material cultur al heritages, which indicates the vital position of Chengdu lacquerware in the cultur e of Sichuan. The birth of Chengdu lacquerware dates back to3,000years ago. It is t he oldest lacquer craft in China or the world. Together with Yangzhou lacquerwar e, Beijing lacquerware, Fujian lacquerware, and Yangjiang lacquerware, Chengdu la cquerware is known as one of the Top5lacquerware of China. Crafts such as Diaoh uatiancai and Yinpiansiguang are unique in the field of lacquer craft in China. The st yle of combining succinctness and elegance and the unique crafts are beyond all com parison. With the continuous emphasis on the protection of non-material cultural heri tages in recent years, the preservation and development of Chengdu lacquerware is v ery essential. In the view of modern dining space design, from the20th cent ury style of dining space on the subject of Western influence interior design style tends modernization, simplification. And people gradually neglected ele ments of traditional Chinese culture. Modern dining space development cannot follow the pace of others, but to build their own brand personality, so dinin g space design must have its own cultural characteristics. Therefore, to create a dining space with the local culture and the outstanding dining space area expression is imperative. In addition, people’s living standards have been great ly improved when step into21st century, people came to the dining space is no longer satisfied with just eating, but more spiritual experience requirements are needed. People used to seeing the western interior design style the sense of technology and modernization, there is more demand for their cultural tra dition and experience. Therefore, traditional cultural style experiential dining s pace design can better meet people’s contemporary dining space design require mentsThis paper attempts to Chengdu lacquer as a creative point, through the u nique elements of Chengdu lacquerware and traditional cultural content refine, reuse and combine modern dining room space, promote and protect the devel opment of Chengdu lacquerware, now confined to a breakthrough in Chengdu lacquerware furnishings and narrow the field portion of the real products, so that more people understand, recognize and protect Chengdu lacquerware. On the other hand, traditional art with the theme of the specific design approa ch also opens up a new design direction dining room space design, constructi on and experience with regional significance dining space to meet the same p eople on the contemporary dining space requirements also focus on the absorp tion and integration of traditional local folk culture, which not only promotes the cultural and artistic development of local native, also contributed to the pr ogress of the restaurant industry in terms of character build.
