Each of the historic city has its own unique charm, the unique charm of the city is derived from their own regional characteristics and cultural characteristics.The streets, is a skeleton of a city, the appearance of the blocks is the concrete externalization of the city image.With the rapid development of society, the appearance of the modern city streets is changing so much.City streets gradually lost its geographical features and shrivel into homogeneity, which makes many cities suffer from a drab uniformity. Therefore,the problems is the motivation of starting this study.Regional culture characteristics Is gradually weakening and disappearing during the influence of cultural diversity in the process of development of modern civilization,. The focus of this article is how to make the city streets more ethnic with local characteristics, which spurs the heritage and development of regional culture. champion traditional culture with modern civilization and technology, to make the regional and multicultural culture coexistence.This article is starting with the definition of regional culture and the content of city streets,through the consult massive literature material and researching Domestic and foreign outstanding cases, to explore the design theory which combines regional culture and city streets.Refine the symbol of regional cultural features, develop the city streets with Tai’an characteristics,create the environment of regional, modern, ecological city streets, build the city streets with regional culture,through researching the theory of city streets with regional culture, regarding the Tai’an Temple Street as the research target to study the culture of Tai’an,which spurs the heritage and development of regional culture,and Injects fresh blood and vitality to the city.
