The Eastern Garden in Yangzhou is a masterpiece in the Jiangnan area dating back to the early Qing dynasty. However, it has disappeared as the time goes on. Fortunately, the drawing Dongyuanshenggaitu and a small amount of literature about the garden left. By discussing the accuracy of the buildings and the landscape in the drawing, and reading the precious historical material which was remained, the author tries to recover the entire garden, fill the blank in the research field on the notable garden and explore the feasibility of restoring the history gardens with the maintained drawing. By referencing the architecture in Yangzhou which were built in the Qing dynasty, the Yingzaofayuan, the related paper and other drawings, the two-dimensional image of architecture and landscape in the drawing Dongyuanshenggaitu can be translated into the designing information, and then the designing information could be transformed into three-dimensional model by using the three-dimensional modeling software. Finally, the designing drawing of the Eastern Garden is completed.
