Mechanism Research Of Spatial Structure Evolution Of Wuhan City

Urban spatial structure is always the key point of the space research, geography focuses on the performance of spatial economic and social activities,which carrying the economic and social activities are urban functional areas, the layout of the different functional areas on the urban space constitute the internal spatial structure of the city. Every city will develop its own characteristics of the urban spatial structure in different historical stages, and the form of spatial structure is constantly changing with the development of economy.The reasons we need to think about is what led to these changes, therefore, research on mechanism of urban spatial structure evolution has important significance.This article based on the spatial structure of Wuhan city as the research object, the mechanism of the evolution of urban spatial structure in Wuhan as the research target, on urban spatial structure at home and abroad for reference, the research contents and research methods.At first, comparing the spatial structure evolution process and evolution characteristics of Wuhan city from1982to2010, and then drawing up the influence factors of the evolution of urban spatial structure of Wuhan city, finally combining qualitative analysis (based on experts and scholars’research and opinions) and quantitative analysis (regression analysis) method to deduce the mechanism of evolution of urban spatial structure of Wuhan city, the following conclusions:(1) Urban spatial structure of the overall characteristics of the great changes have taken place, the characteristics of spatial structure integral form is changing from circling structure to the polycentric structure gradually. The variation characteristics of urban spatial structure in Wuhan city is significantly, industrial, commercial and residential activities in space present the characteristics which original highly concentrated in the center of the city is changing to the urban periphery, space layout is more and more balanced. The direction of industrial agglomeration in Huangpi, Xinzhou, Caidian and Jiangxia administrative region; New business center is on the rise, jointly developed new business circle gradually increased, such as business circle of optical valley in Wuchang, Wangjiawan business circle in Hanyang, etc.; living centre of gravity is changed from Hankou to Wuchang and Hanyang about living space. (2) There are many factors that can influence in the evolution of the spatial structure of Wuhan city, the fundamental motivation is the development of market economy, the regression analysis results show that there is an interaction between the market economic factors of urban spatial structure evolution.The interaction between regional commercial enterprise concentration degree and residential population is,regional business agglomeration have a positive solidarity to population agglomeration, expanding of the size of population living also stimulate the further development to commercial breadth and depth.The influence of land prices to urban spatial structure is mainly manifested on the spheres of urban spatial structure,and the number of regional population living will raise the premium positioning, the other important factors include government planning, residents’ personal preferences, and so on.
