A Study On The Evolution Of The Residential Spatial Structure In Lanzhou City From The Perspective Of Urban Planning

Residential as a material carrier of basic human needs, are essential to humansurvival and development. In recent years, with the development of our nationaleconomy,people’s living standard has been greatly improved, theresidents of housing consumption demand has become the basic production factorsin people’s life, city housing problem has caused the academic circles andgovernment departments concerned. Problems related to city housing spatial structureevolution mechanism of city housing, spatial planning and its accompanying hasalso become an important subject of scholars research.With the rapid development of real estate industry，the spatial variation of theresidential market gradually attracts the attention of academia in recent years. Thispaper, taking the city of Lanzhou as the main study area and the residential projectsinformation from1998to2013of Lanzhou City as the basic data，analyzes thedynamic evolution of the residential spatial structure through the methods of bufferanalysis and Kriging analysis by ArcGis.
