With the rapid growth of our country's vehicle,cities such as Beijing,Guangzhou and Shenzhen have entered the automobile society.Thus,urban traffic is getting heavier and traffic jams are growing frequently.Although major cities are constantly upgrading and building their transport infrastructure to alleviate congestion,yet the effect is not ideal.This is mainly due to the lack of systematic and systematic research on the interrelationship between transport network and space structure,and the traditional traffic management methods are difficult to solve the problem fundamentally.The multilevel nature of traffic network and the diversity of urban spatial structure indicates that there can be many different development paths and evolution modes between traffic and space,which reduces the efficiency of urban resource allocation.Therefore,from the perspective the interaction between traffic network and urban spatial structure,it is of great theoretical and practical significance to study the integrated planning method of urban traffic and urban spatial structure system,which can realize the reasonable combination of urban spatial and urban traffic.In order to achieve the the research goal,this dissertation focuses on the following studies:First of all,this dissertation analyzes and summarizes the theoretical research on urban transport and urban spatial structure and finds that the classical urban location theory is unsatisfactory in explaining the new characteristics of modern urban spatial system due to the lack of attention and research on the complexity of urban transportation network.The problem of urban traffic congestion can not be solved through the coordination of traffic demand and supply,pointing out the direction of further studying traffic network and space structure.As for the scale of the study,due to the improvement of transportation technology,the urban spatial scale has already broken through the limitations of the original urban geography and developed in the direction of the metropolitan area.This dissertation argues that the solution to the problem of urban traffic congestion can be solved by taking into account the interactive relationship of dynamic evolution interaction of traffic and spatial distribution,the spatial dependence and time and space interaction,meanwhile it brings this relationship into the spatial measurement model.Secondly,this dissertation focuses on the correlation between urban air traffic and urban spatial structure and its evolution the spatial-temporal evolution of urban traffic and urban spatial structure through analyzing the spatial-temporal evolution of urban traffic and urban spatial structure from the aspects of industrial structure spatial evolution,transportation and land use,transportation and urban spatial structure and points out what the traffic plays in urban spatial development and spatial structure change in Xi'an.The spatial layout of industrial structure also has important guidance for transport planning.Focusing on the "T"-shaped urban spatial structure and the "two horizontal and three vertical" urban roads in Xi'an,the "Concentric Circles" urban spatial structure under the Xi'an ring road,the modern "ring + radiation" road network system and the "9-square grid" city,this dissertation suggests that under the circumstances the urban road network system is becoming more and more complicated and the urban traffic congestion is increasingly serious,the current supply and demand management methods are ineffective.To solve urban puts forward that only from the perspective of urban spatial structure can traffic problems be solved.Thirdly,based on the Desmet-Esteban Rossi-Hansberg model,the analysis starts from the location choice of economic activity subject,the formation of spatial structure is closely related to the spatial agglomeration of economic activity subject.Based on the micro basic theory of the interaction between traffic and spatial structure,the dissertation finds that it is impossible to introduce the transport variables into the theoretical model of homogeneous space to analyze the spatial structure because the choice of spatial location of economic activity subject is ignored by the difference of spatial factors and traffic conditions.Therefore,this dissertation submits a study on the relationship between transportation and spatial structure in heterogeneous spatial perspective and puts the evolutionary viewpoint into theoretical analysis under the assumption of inseparability of producers and consumers.Meanwhile,transport cost is introduced into urban spatial structure model of two zones and two economic activities to analyze the influence of location factor endowment and transport cost on mufti-centred development of urban spatial structure.Through the model deduction,it is found that when the transport cost is high,the relationship between urban location is closer,which makes the urban economic spatial pattern evolve from agglomeration to dispersion to agglomeration.The decrease of the transportation cost caused by the innovation of transportation technology leads to the dispersion of urban spatial pattern,and weak-to-strong process of the urban spatial multi-user.Fourthly,the dissertation makes an empirical analysis and study on the development of urban traffic in Xi'an and its internal spatial structure and the development of inter-urban traffic and the urban outer spatial structure.Based on the analysis of urban industrial structure,spatial distribution of urban population,urban land use and urban traffic development,Granger causality test and impulse response analysis,the relationship of spatial-temporal evolution is analyzed between urban traffic development and spatial evolution of urban spatial structure.It concludes that:(1)the influence of traffic on the output value of the tertiary industry is not consistent---negative on the primary industry,positive on the secondary industry but continuous positive on the tertiary industry.(2)The urban population is more vulnerable to urban traffic.The tidal phenomena in the urban traffic jam in Xi'an has a very close relationship with the poor transportation facilities in the deputy centre through the analysis of the geographical concentration of the population,the analysis of the thermal maps of the population and the report of the traffic survey.(3)The impact of highway mileage on urban space is relatively small in the light of pulse response,while that of urban space on urban traffic is relatively large.Based on the improvement of gravity model,it analyses the change of intercity traffic in Xian's spatial structure concludes that the gravity of the central city of Xi'an increases and the radiation radius are expanding.In the forming,process of Xi'an sub-center city,the experience of Tokyo and Paris can be introduced to avoid the traffic jams caused by the separation of work and residence.Fifthly,the dissertation mainly combs the process of traffic and urban spatial evolution in foreign cities from the Tokyo and Paris case analysis.On the one hand,it draws the enlightenment worthy of reference and on the other hand,it verifies the applicability of the explanatory model established.Through in-depth analysis of the spatial evolution and the characteristics of urban traffic of Tokyo and Paris,it further points out the inherent relationship between traffic construction and spatial structure development?Finally,the dissertation analyzes the incoordination of urban transportation and urban spatial development,and points out the solutions to the problem.Based on the model of interaction between urban traffic and spatial structure,it summarizes the mechanism of urban transport and urban spatial structure through empirical analysis.Specifically,the increase in the level of output value resulting from the improvement of the transportation technology level means the economic growth of the city;the original low-efficiency production area replaced by the high-efficiency emerging industry sector means the transformation and upgrading of the economic and economic structure of the city;High efficiency new sector extrudes low efficiency traditional industry sector and the traffic technology progress makes the industry location transfer smooth advance for this industry location transfer.The improvement of traffic technology leads to the decrease of the population's geographical concentration and the sub-urbanization of population,the urban space extends outwards,the spatial structure presents "multihearted city ".This is the evolution of traffic and urban spatial structure and its mechanism.
