Aircraft is a process of countinuos improvement in it’s design, and requires a lot of trialdata to support,so aircraft need a special data recorder to store the environmentparameters,operating state information and a large number of video and image information.The data in recorder can be well prepared for the next flight.Nowadays the amount of data tobe recorded in the aircraft is growing,especially in video and image data,which need to designa high-speed,large-capacity data recorder.Firstly this paper describes the background and current development of data recorder.According to the demands,we decide to use Virtex-5Series FPGA of Xilinx company as thelogic control chip,FPGA internal integration the high-speed serial transceivers RocketIO GTPinside FPGA as high-speed data receiving unit,two pieces of DDR2SDRAM to cache thedata of ping-pong structure,thirty-two pieces of NAND FLASH memory are composed as astorage unit to receive and store the high-speed data.This paper made a detailed presentationof large-capacity high-speed data recorder.Simplify the interface of RocketIO GTPtransceivers and MIG controller for easy operation,given part of Verilog HDL code and userconstraints file,and simulate the module to verify its accuracy,the storage unit with paralleloperation,which significantly increased the data bandwidth.In order to ensure reliableoperation of the high-speed circuit,PCB printed circuit board according to high-speed digitalcircuit rules.Finally by testing the function of data recorder, we have a soundly based conclusion thatthe large-capacity and high speed data recorder designed in the thesis, performs the requiredand have a very important significance.
