Furnace gas temperature measurement for online real-time control, safe and stable operation, diagnostics and optimize the combustion process of the boiler has a very important practical significance. However, transient changes and random turbulence in the furnace combustion process, the large size of temperature field and the poor environment characteristics, which make the online real-time measurement of furnace gas temperature difficult. The acoustic method of gas temperature detection technology is a new type of non-contact furnace gas temperature measurement method, with fast, accurate, wide measurement range, real-time continuous measurement as well as easy maintenance characteristics, which make it able competent the task of boiler gas temperature measurement in scientific research and industrial production, and the measurement results for optimized combustion and reduce pollution, guarantee the equipment safe and efficient operation, and furnace optimization design and so on has an important guiding significance.First, study of the principle of the acoustic method of gas temperature detection technology, and analysis its theoretical basis, and eventually obtained a function of temperature and speed of sound.Secondly, appropriate improvements the analog circuit on the basis of predecessors, and also adopt a new micro-controller, and re-design the digital circuits, and detailed introduce the hardware systems including analog and digital circuits.Again, study of the delay estimation algorithm based on the cross-correlation theory, on this basis, further explore the generalized cross correlation delay estimation algorithm which take the weighting function as the core, and analyze its theoretical basis and calculation process, and compared the advantages and disadvantages of different weighting functions and their applications, meanwhile, described and analysis of related software design.In addition, briefly introduce the mechanical structure and installation of the cooling device, and analysis of its working mechanism, and its impact and correction methods. Finally, in order to determine the various parameters of the hardware circuit and the weighting function of generalized cross-correlation time delay estimation algorithm, carried out a series of related experiments in the laboratory, and analysis the experimental results, and then, carried out the temperature experiments under laboratory conditions, which show that the system can achieve temperature measurement.
