In the combustion process of coal-fired boilers is a multivariable system with intense coupling, grievous nonlinear, time-varying characteristic, intense and large amplitude of disturbance change. The change of the content of blow-air, to-air content, give-coal, heat-net burdened, ambient temperature and other parameters will have a direct impact on the combustion system. Control dose not only directly affect the stability of boiler heating conditions, but also significant to improve the thermal efficiency of the chain boiler, saving energy, reduce consumption and protect the environment. Yet, thermal power plant boiler combustion optimization mainly relies on the workers do many test for various conditions and the commonly type of coal. Worker operate depend on the result of the test, this method is time-consuming, and commonly type of coal often changes, as well as operating conditions change frequently, actual condition frequently deviates from the experimental conditions. At the same time, combustion adjustment methods can’t real-time adjustment of the control scheme according to the variation of operating conditions. Then make chain boiler is not the best running status, causing the waste of resources.In this paper, studying the current heating system of the boiler combustion control system, based on coal quality changing, load changing and boilers frequently deviate from the optimal combustion conditions, design and develop a set of optimization of boiler control system based on DCS. This system is designed by using monitoring configuration software and optimization control software module based on JX-300XP DCS.Firstly, realize dynamic data interaction between DCS and force control configuration software by using the OPC technology.Secondly, solve the dynamic data interaction of the force control configuration software and the optimal control software through DBCOM. OCX control. Optimization control system adopts dynamic optimal algorithm which using the heat signal as the optimization target. However, considering the optimal control algorithm search the optimal point requires a certain amount of time. In order to ensure the stable operation of the boiler in the case of changing load, bad mining, the PID controller with the characteristics of the fast-track was added in the design of optimal control programs.The system adopted the program of PID-self-optimizing segmented control,which seemingly lost some amount of optimization, but ensure the rate of self-control of the entire system, truly realize " ensuring stability when the conditions of the boiler is bad and optimal when the conditions of the boiler is stability." The field inspection operation, the system control effect is good and better energy saving rate could be achieved.
