Energy is an important material basis for the development and progress of human society, to ensure the development of national economy and the improvement of people’s living standard is very important. China’s energy consumption is mainly dominated by coal, accounted for60%of all energy consumed more than. The electric energy as the pillar industry of economic development, is a large consumption of coal, the annual consumption of about19tons. As China’s demand for energy saving and environmental protection aspects of increasing year by year, how to further promote energy-saving emission reduction work, has become the future development of new issues and challenges of coal-fired boiler industry.Boiler combustion optimization control technology is without modification of boiler equipment, the operation data and the distributed control system (DCS), the application of advanced modeling and optimization control technology, to adjust the boiler combustion, reduce the heat loss, improve the thermal efficiency of boiler. In this paper, the existing abundant production data and history data using the power plant, the dynamic characteristics of boiler thermal process in-depth study of complex, nonlinear, time delay, uncertainty, strong coupling characteristics such as the application of fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, combustion and other professional knowledge, combined with the modern control theory, fuzzy control, neural network control technology research on optimization, main steam pressure, temperature regulation, steam and fuel conversion, boiler combustion, fuel and air cross limiting distribution, coal feeder speed control, furnace pressure control loop, realize the combustion optimization of boiler system, has a strong practical. The content of this paper belongs to the intersection problem of multi discipline, has the very strong front, fundamental and complicated, plans to take the multidisciplinary, multi-disciplinary approach, and strive to achieve substantial breakthroughs in the main research content. In the research, the application of technology for the power plant production services at the same time, will also focus on basic theory research. Introducing boiler system of power plant irreversible thermodynamic analysis as a new concept, the new theory of complexity, dynamic process focuses on the steam water system and combustion system for in-depth study, can have a major breakthrough in this regard, optimize the unit operation control.In this paper, study with independent intellectual property rights of combustion optimization control software has been put into trial operation, the results confirmed that the combustion condition of the boiler has been significantly improved, the thermal efficiency is improved obviously.
