Recent years.people’s demand for leisure and tourism in night are growing5the waterfront is the best choice for the social activities. Generally,water area is an important window for the image of the city, the landscape design and research more mature. However,there are some questions like that over-illumination or lack of lighting,because of the unreasonable needs about the image of a city.Urban lighting is a part of urban landscape, lighting is the unite of science and art,also it a hard work for the landscape architect.This article was look for the document that related to landscape lighting, in combination with landscape design,environmental psychology,lighting design, chromatology,aesthetics and so on,then pick up the Shanghai Bund, waterfront of Pearl River in Guangzhou and waterfront of Xiang River in Zhuzhou for lighting analysis and research.In view of the analysis results,put forward the component of waterfront lighting and extracting three basic design principles:exhume the superiors of waterfronts reasonably,combination the night lighting and day scenes,to control over the point between artistic and scientific attributions.According to each discipline theory comprehensive application in landscape and lighting, analysis on the construction background of sight Dufu Garret Xiang River in Changsha,scene and the surrounding environment, specific landscape lighting effect analysis. Provide the scientific guidance basis for sight Dufu Garret Xiang River lighting in Changsha’s optimization design.According to the detailed analysis for waterfront of Xiang River in Changsha’s landscape,then points out that the lack of it’s lighting effects.Discusses the optimization design concept,design principles and guidelines about the waterfront of Xiang River in Changsha lighting,On the basis of relative theory combining with practice;put forward the "An organic whole and tandem type " overall reconstruction scheme; specific design for lighting elements about the waterfront of Xiang River in Changsha,for guide the optimization design.To summarizes the main conclusions and innovative achievements in this article.The point of waterfront lighting of city should answer the surroundings and theme on the day scene,line for road system lighting,connect the waterfront’s "pearls"in turn----primary and secondary scenic spots, different lighting need and emphasis for varies element.Extracting three innovative points:unite the lighting and day scene,"in series pattern"lighting and public join in the lighting effects’maintenance.According to the function orientation and style of the landscape characteristics, to adjust measures to local conditions of the landscape lighting design,that is good for the construction has the regional characteristic of landscape characteristics,conform to the landscape features,lighting effect of harmony.
