Diaphragm pumps originate from reciprocating piston pump, which added diaphragm chamber on the basis of reciprocating piston pump at the end of seventy’s in twentieth century, it realizes isolation to the piston and the transmission medium, thereby creating a new advanced transportation equipment and technology. It not only has advantages of durable, large transporting flow and strong delivering pressure from Reciprocating piston pump, but also has many new advantages and new characteristics of high temperature resistance, high corrosion resistance, easy to repair, long service life of easily damaged parts, low operation cost, high efficiency of transportation, efficient, energy saving and advantageous to environmental protection from diaphragm pumps in itself. This thesis takes "the replacement of diaphragm pump crankshaft bearing " as the main research content, and takes " the rolling bearings substitution for sliding bearing of connecting rod small end and big end bearings and crankshaft main bearings," as the expected result, diaphragm pump crankshaft bearing performance are analyzed Comprehensively.This paper begins with the analysis of the working principle and structural characteristics of diaphragm pumps, establishes mathematical model of the slider crank mechanism, and uses MATLAB software to solve the kinematic and dynamic equations; It uses Pro/e software to create model, build the virtual prototype using the mechanical system dynamics simulation software ADAMS on the basis of the analysis of motion mechanism and stress distribution of diaphragm pump, and determine kinematic and kinetic parameters of diaphragm pump transmission system through the prototype simulation with the established mathematical model verification to provide a load for the finite element calculation.This paper determines the law of stress and deformation of crankshaft under the force of unique crank and multi cranks respective and the crankshaft position of the maximum stress and deformation using finite element software Hypermesh and Workbench to do static analysis for crankshaft in rolling bearings condition, where this paper does contact analysis for crankshaft and bearings in the condition of sliding bearing, to determine crankshaft’s stress and deformation and contact stress. At last, the paper conducts static analysis and optimization design for the connecting rod.
