Oil cooler is one of the important components of the engine lubrication system, it is used for cooling the oil to keep the temperature of oil at the best range(80℃~105℃), ensure the oil has good lubrication. The performance of the oil cooler is critical, it directly affects the reliability of the engine. Fatigue test is an effective method for testing the reliability of the oil cooler. Currently, there are less scholars of the world to research the fatigue test equipment of the oil cooler, the precision and automation of the test equipment is not high, and the fatigue properties research of the oil cooler is nearly blank. This is what the thesis aims at, develop the oil cooler pressure pulse test system, and try to research the fatigue properties of the oil cooler.The main contents are as follows:(1) Considering the requirement of the function and main performance index, from two aspects of the normal and high temperature test to design the overall scheme of the test system.(2) The host-guest system adopted NI Compact RIO as the main control system, integrated mechanical design, hydraulic system design, programming, data acquisition and other knowledge for the design of the test system.(3) Overall test system debugging, showing the system hardware and software debugging process, ensure the test can be run normally.(4) Using the SAFL method for fatigue test, analyze the test data, and using normal distribution, weibull distribution model for fatigue strength analysis of the oil cooler, to evaluate the fatigue properties.
