Vocational education mainly emerged after the second world war, developed quickly in the sixties and seventies of the20th century. Development of vocational education is an important part of national development, and promotes the economic development. Many countries take higher vocational education as the secret strategy of economic development. In our country, the higher vocational education started in the1980. Since the reform and opening up, the needs of the higher technology applied talents is increasing, vocational education developed quickly. To meet the needs of the rapid development of economical industry, great changes have taken place in teaching mode of the higher vocational education, through increasing the training course proportion to improve the practice ability of higher vocational graduates, and training the technical talents as the goal to make graduates more quickly adapt to the work. Therefore, in the planning and construction process of vocational education park, focus on training characteristics are particularly important.Based on the above background, this article will unify the example of planning and design of Dalian vocational education park, to explore the suitable vocational education park planning and design strategies for research purposes, on the basis of the analysis of related design research at home and abroad, using a variety of research methods, in-depth analysis practical characteristics of the vocational education park, from the perspective of the practice to provide reference opinions for the current vocational education park planning and design, to achieve the goal of promoting all-round development of higher vocational education. Thesis mainly expounds the following content:First of all, this paper defines the concept of vocational education park-the main research object. This paper analyzes the characteristics of vocational education, the relevant theoretical research results at home and abroad and the present situation of construction, summarizes the planning and construction of vocational education park.Secondly, this article starts from current situation review, summarizes three methods of training, and respectively expounds three practical ways to realize the carrier.Finally, based on the analysis of the practical mode, the article discuss the perspective of planning and design of vocational education park based on practical characteristics:mainly includes the location of vocational education park, the layout of practical base and construction. With the example of the planning and design of Dalian vocational education park, verifies the planning and design strategy of vocational education park.
