ABSTRACT:Nowdays, city problems are coming more and more serious,it focus these cities to seek out development opportunities, satellite town is also gradually rising. With the adjustment and evolution of city function structure, now city center become work zone, and the citizen move to satellite town for better living environment and less pressure of housing. This phenomenon produce commuter flow between city center and satellite town, this flow is concentration and time characteristics obvious.Advanced experience of suburban railway in the foreign cities provides reference to solve urban transport problems for us. As part of the city public transport, suburban railway has great potential in the development of metropolitan cities, and also has been planned in some cities. In the planning of suburban railway, the station spacing design is an important content,it has important influence on operation efficiency. Suburban railway has just started in our cities, but passengers could not ride convinently for the unreasonable setting of station,so these lines operate poorly, such as S2in Beijing offen appear empty stool phenomenon.Planning department should attach importance to this problem. The article analyses the factors on the station spacing. From the operating charateristics, the author respectively select the train operation efficiency and passenger travel time as the objective and establish model, draw reasonable station spacing under differenet target speed. In the two models, the station spacing is all in1.5-5.5km,when train speed values from100km/h-160km/h, and the result close to suburban railway station spacing situation abroad.Bases the two model, conbinend with qualitative analysis of station siting, the author put forward the method of site layout.Ihe the five chapter taking S1in Beijing as example to verification station spacing optimization model in this paper.
