In the context of today’s world, globalization and local culture protection influence eachother to make people pay more attention to the traditional village once again. Macro view isnot hard to find in history, which had repeatedly appeared similar to the problems betweenglobalization and regional culture. It is just in the field of culture and a process of culturalintegration and assimilation. Dynasties in history, as in the past, people lived the place of work,traditional villages carrying too much regional culture and historical value. So more and morepeople have recognized that the process of globalization did not replace the traditional villagehosted by the regional culture, but make it constantly a sort of update and development withthe foreign culture.Now in Conghua, many traditional villages with lingnan characteristic survived. Theyprovides an indispensable precious data for the study of lingnan regional culture, however, inthe concrete operation process of the protection of traditional villages there is a deviation,which is hard to avoid. On the one hand, there is imperfection of the dominant village ofvocabulary study on element itself of lingnan characteristic village. This is due to the cognitionto the whole village vocabulary only focusing on some single level and we did not fully realizethat can reflect the traditional way of life and folk culture village all elements; On the otherhand, we have ignored the village cultural value of cognitive bias. In grasping the scalebetween economy and culture is not enough in the long run, such as some traditional villagescompletely bring economic profit to become the cultural commodity. So the developers preferto the economic value, without digging the cultural value. So this article will explan thelingnan regional culture in the traditional villages in vocabulary study and finally comb alingnan characteristic village elements.
