| This paper is based on field engineering practice. Influence factors of compaction degree of the subbase and base layers are studied in field on a large coal yard. An analysis is made on material properties of the graded crushed stone laid on the subbase layer, such as compressive strength, shear strength, permanent deformation and durability, and volume stability, etc. The relationship between the compaction degree and CBR value of the graded crushed stone laid on the base layer is studied. CBR strength increases exponentially with the increase of the compaction degree on the whole. An analysis is made on the material structure compartmentalization and characteristics of the cement stabilized macadam laid on the base layer. Influence factors in the construction of the compaction degree of the cement stabilized macadam laid on the base layer are studied. According to the results, it’s necessary to monitor the whole process of construction technology of the graded crushed stone laid on the subbase layer and the cement stabilized macadam laid on the base layer, in order to ensure that the compaction of the subbase and base layers meets the design requirements. |
