The Design And Implementation Of Contract Managent System Of Dagangshan Hydropower Station

The construction of hydropower station belongs to the traditional infrastructureindustry. Before twenty-first Century, the production and management in this domainhas been mostly conducted manually, however, it is hardly to satisify the nationaleconomy development pace anymore, since low efficiency, long construction period.Recent years, with the rapid development of modern information technology andmachineries, hydropower industry has undertaken an industrial revolution. Large scaleapplication of automatic control systems and machineries during construction process,has facilitied site automation and process standardization, has improved project timecontrol and quality control result, eventually speeded up the project overall deliveryprocess.More effective site production puts forward higher requirements on the contractmanagement. How to keep the synchronization between payment and progress of theproject? How to facilitate the quantity measurement, cost control and claim reportingprocedure, to ensure efficient change management for the variety of changes and claims?Moreover, how to obtain enough subcontractor qualification information under currentmarket situation, to protect labor’s livelihood and social stability? Cost control is animportant part of contract management, how to relate all sorts of discrete cost data, togive a better solution for cost prediction and cost control?To answer above issues, in this research, the author took contract management inDagangshan Hydropower Station project as the study domain, developed Dagangshanhydropower project contract management information system upon IT technologies.Work include.1. Adopting relevant software engineering methodology, author analysed businessrelationship and process within contract management area, developed software functionscheme, and divided overall system into serveral function modules: settlement pricemanagement, cost control and analysis, change and claim management, guaranteeinsurance claim management, completion settlement management etc.2. Based on business analysis and design work, author sets up a relational database upon ORACLE software, which supports arious automatic data calculation andstatistics.3. This research conducted a broad investigation on WorkFlow technology andmobile technology. Workflow is capable to standard and accelerate business approvalprocess, and provide enough flexibility for process reengineering. Mobile terminalallows users to acess system whenever and wherever it’s possible, therefore enhancework efficiency.4. System development is based on B/S architecture, the use of JQuery technologycan improve the user experience, so as to enhance the application value.
