As the traditional shipborne weapon, navy gun has advantages of quick reaction, largequatity of bombs carrying, strong capacity of continous fighting, high reliability, and low cost,etc.; which plays significant role in naval battles. As the development of modern militarytechnology and the change of naval strategy and tactical idea, the position and funciton ofnavy gun is further recognized and evaluated in modern warfare, in which higherrequirements and tactical targets are proposed for navy gun, and a higher requirement forammunition silos of the navy gun system.As a result, basing on collection and analysis of information about shipboard weaponsoverseas and domestic, the author in this essay comprehensively analyzes all kinds ofautomation ammunition silos and technology of stereoscopic silos of heavy calibre navy gun,and proposes a brand-new integrated automation silos solution in supplying ammunition,which improves storing environment for ammunition and ammunition transferring efficiency,and realizes direct ammunition feed to gun turret automatically.As the important part of integrated automation silos in supplying ammunition, pinion andrack ammunition pusher is the executing part to realize single launch of ammunition.Therefore, the vibration and function of pinion and rack system will directly influence safety,reliability and rate of ammunition when pushed, which influences the function in supplyingammunition within the entire system.First, basing on the physical model of pinion and rack ammunition pusher, it considersthe side clearance of pinion and rack, takes lumped-mass method, and establishes nonlineardynamic model of pinion and rack system’s clearance. It conducts dimensionless treatment,eliminates the incommensurability brought by different dimensions and dimension units, andbased on piecewise linear characteristics of the model, finds the exact solution of the systemby the numerical method.Second, by solving the system equations, it uses the software MATLAB to solve thenonlinear differential equations, and explores coexistence issues of multiple-cycle solution ofthe nonlinear system by studying the influence of system parameters, such as damping ratio,incentive frequency, load ratio etc., to the solution structure of the system cycle. Finally, the exponent Lyapunov is introduced to conduct qualitative analysis of thesystem’s dynamic behavior. It mainly introduces the calculation of the exponent Lyapunovand the use of the exponent Lyapunov in the analysis of the gear system’s nonlinear problem,i.e. characterizing the initial sensitivity of chaotic vibration by the exponent Lyapunov.Research in this essay can provide a theoretical reference for the implementation ofautomation ammunition silos.
