The valve has played an irreplaceable role in the modern pipe network transportsystem.The Traditional sea valve is used to controll manually,the operational process and thesystem failures are just judged by operator based on their experience,this not only lead tocontrol precision、inconvenient maintenance、low degree of automation,but also can’t becentralized control and remote operation.The goal of the research is developing electricactuator and control system based on the original manual sea valve,which not noly achievethe automatic control of the sence,but also can be used remote cominunication andoperation,performing the intelligent control.Firstly, the paper states the development process and the research status of the valve athome and abroad, on this basis, combining with the design requirements of sea valve, we usethe special valve motor as power source and design the electric actuator which can achieve theswitchover between manual and electric operation.The paper focuse on electric actuatorcontrol system and determine the whole control scheme of the valve.Secondly, we develop the hardware circuit and the software systems of the Lowermachine. Lower machine system is the key to achieve automatic control of the valve, and thissubject uses a modular design method which can be divided into the following main modules:the microcontroller and it’s minimum system, motor drive and control module, systemprotection module, valve opening detection and control module, the torque signal detectionand control module, the development of the man-machine interface, mode selection andpower module.Then, we analyze the communication principle of CAN bus to build the system structureof the CAN communication interface, and we design CAN interface circuit. According to thecharacteristics of the CAN controller, we develop the CAN node software system. And we useVC++to write the monitoring interface of the host computer and CAN communication testinterface, in order to prepare for a follow-up experiment debug.Finally, we analyze the reliability and robustness of the overall system and proposespecificanti-jamming measures. and then we draw a schematic of the overall control system,make、weld and debug the PCB board, do the whole system experiment which contains the executive body of the Lower machine、CAN communication node and the remote control ofthe host computer and analyses the experimental results.This system uses a CAN controller dedicated chip of ATMEL Corporation as the masterchip of the lower machine, introduces the Can bus for remote communication, monitorsthrough the host computer, and all of this constitute a distributed control system based onCAN bus. This study provides some theoretical and experimental experience to achieve thesea valve automation and intelligent operation.
